Jan has extensive experience in effective remote counselling and supervision by phone, online or in-person.

Jan has been counselling for over 20 years and is a clinical member of PACFA (Psychotherapists and Counselors Federation of Australia).  Jan has a Master of Counselling and Bachelor of Counselling from University of New England and Diploma of Relationship Counselling.  Jan is also a Child Consultant and has worked in this field for over 12 years.  Jan is a qualified supervisor of counsellors and is also the author of two children’s books titled The Good/Bad Feelings Diary and My Very Own Good/Bad Feelings Diary Workbook.
 

Jan has spent the past 13 years employed in a family relationship centre specializing in grief and loss, working with individuals, couples, families and children offering support in various ways including post separation issues and domestic violence. Prior to this employment Jan was in private practice and was the writer and facilitator of a number of workshops for various community centres.

As author of the children's book "The Good/Bad Feelings Diary", Jan has created a unique interactive picture journey which aims to strengthen the communication between parent & child and allow the child to express and explore their feelings on a daily basis - read more here
